Follow the steps below to change the default input method in Windows 10.
1. Open the Control Panel, click on Change input method link under Clock, Language, and Region section.
2. Click on the Advanced settings link at the top left.
3. Under Override for default input method, click on the drop down box, select either a language (input method) or to Use language list, and click on Save.
